The choir's repertoire includes music from many cultures: African, Cuban, Spirituals, Folk, and Aboriginal compositions. Brian introduces the selections, putting each in their time and context and their importance to their respective musical heritage. As an audience member, you have learned about the song's origins, adding a dimension which enhances one's appreciation of the moment. It was a joy to hear the City Soul Choir sing with great passion, a passion felt by the audience, making for an exciting musical experience!
